| WOW i haven't updated for such a long time. well, i am finally back from my vacation. i came back home saturday night.
HONG KONG: so me and my mom went to hong kong first, and then my brother and dad came a couple of days later (since brian had to do the jenny lin concert). so basically what i did there was see all of my relatives and go shopping. my cousins are so big now! oh and i got two new baby boy cousins. they're adorable! anyway, so one day my mom, aunt, 4 year old cousin, and i go shopping at this mall. guess who i run into?! JOANIE, at mcdonalds, of all places!!! it was soo weird!! but really cool. hah.
SINGAPORE: so after like, a week in HK, all of my relatives plus my family took a trip to singapore. we stayed at two hotels. the first one was in the city, but it was just ok because all of the shopping malls there were all really expensive upper class stuff (we're talking louis vuitton, gucci, versace, etc.). there's really not much to do there. then after two days, we went to sentosa, which is an island in singapore. we stayed at this resort, with this ginormous pool and a beach connected to it. it was really cool! then, after two more days, we flew back to HK, where the next day my family went to...
AUSTRALIA: my relatives couldn't come with us because the adults had to work and the kids had school (they have school in summer!! so sad). so it was just my family. it was lots of fun, though! we went to the great barrier reef to snorkel, and i saw a sea turtle, a stingray, and lots of colorful fish up close! also, on the boat ride back to land, we spotted a whale!! pretty awesome, if i do say so myself. then the next day, my brother went jet skiing and i went parasailing! parasailing was a little scary at first, but then it was really cool because there was a great view. on our last day in australia, my family took this excursion to the rainforest. it was really cold there, but it was pretty interesting to see all of those plants. while over there, we managed to spot a kangoroo!! it was so much fun! then after that, my family flew back to HK to spend more time with relatives, and then we flew back home. i had a great summer vacation!
so, today was freshman orientation. it was alright. i'm glad that i got to see some of my friends (but most of my friends were on the other day). stupid alphabet. well, looking forward to tomorrow (freshman dance), and friday (ytf graduation overnighter)! i can't believe we have the overnighter with ichthus. crazy. so, i'll post my schedule up on friday. tell me if you have any classes with me! |
